The Situation

AME Trade held the 8th edition of the Africa PPP Conference & Exhibition in London; it provided various private sector firms and PPP units with the opportunity to learn more about PPPs, be provided with technical assistance and to participate in PPP Capacity Development Training. The Conference included various sectors for PPPs, including energy, water, housing, agriculture, transport and manufacturing.

The Solution

Africa PPP Advisory was tasked with assisting AME Trade with the conference, this included providing PPP units from Kenya, South Africa, Egypt, Senegal, Cameroon, Nigeria and Uganda with technical assistance in showcasing their project investment opportunities, delivering a PPP Capacity Development Programme/Training and hosting One-to-One Investment Matchmaking Sessions between the public and private sectors representatives.

Our Assistance

We provided advisory services for private sector firms and PPP Units across Africa on project pipeline development and packaged their country’s PPP projects for investment promotion in preparation of their participation at the conference. We also designed, developed and coordinated the delivery of the pre-conference PPP Capacity Development Programme/Training, which also involved preparing the training materials for it. Furthermore, we were integral in organising, facilitating and delivering One-to-One Matchmaking Sessions between representatives of PPP Units and Private Sector Firms.
