Nasarawa State has a promising opportunity to develop an SAPZ with AfDB support. However, they need a comprehensive feasibility study to solidify their plans and convince the AfDB to move forward.
The Solution
The assignment involves developing a feasibility study and advising the Nasarawa State Government on setting up the Special Agro-industrial processing zone in Gudi industrial park.
Our Assistance
We provided transaction advisory services which include a detailed value chain analysis of the selected priority crops to establish the potential to support the output/input requirements of potential tenants/off takers; market demand and technical assessment to establish the requirements of potential investors as well as the suitability of the site and commodities to a list of potential tenants/off-takers, determination of existing and additional infrastructure required at the location, within the feedstock catchment area, and connecting the SAPZ to raw materials. As well as, development of conceptual master plan, architectural and engineering designs, drawings, and costing estimates; and Project concept note.
